Doodle, my 15 year-old, is my least picky eater. She is also in Texas visiting her grandmother for the next two weeks. This makes menu planning a challenge. While I refuse to cater to the boys’ pickiness, I find that it’s really nice to have at least one person saying, “Yay! This is delicious, Mom!” About the only things that will elicit that from everyone in the family are my chicken with shallots, my spaghetti with tuna sauce (recipe coming Monday afternoon), spaghetti with Italian sausage, and homemade pizza. I’m going to try to spread those out among the days of the next two weeks, so that I can get some “yays” during that time. So here’s this week:
Monday:
Breakfast: Farina, fruit, milk
Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwiches, chips, fruit
Dinner: Spaghetti con sugo di tonno (spaghetti with tuna sauce)

Tuesday:
Breakfast: Smoothies
Lunch: Peanut butter sandwiches, fruit
Dinner: Pizza
Wednesday:
Breakfast: Cold cereal and milk, fruit
Lunch: Quesadillas
Dinner: Macaroni and cheese with bacon, green beans
Thursday:
Breakfast: Muffins, milk
Lunch: Eggs with hats
Dinner: Kids will be at Gramma’s, I’ll be at pool
Friday:
Breakfast: Kids at Gramma’s
Lunch: Kids at Gramma’s
Dinner: Chicken Quesadillas
Saturday:
Breakfast: Muffins, milk
Lunch: Peanut butter sandwiches, fruit
Dinner: Spaghetti with Italian sausage
Sunday:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with blueberries
Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwiches, fruit, chips
Dinner: Black bean burritos
